This project involved two key elements: first, replacing an outdated 1970s rear extension with a new kitchen/dining space featuring reclaimed brick, charred timber, and a sedum roof.
The second component was the demolition of an existing garage, which obstructed the garden, and the construction of a newly oriented garage.
The interior design embraces a neutral palette to highlight the bespoke teal plywood and laminate kitchen. Low-energy smart LED lighting and underfloor heating were integrated throughout the new spaces, enhancing both sustainability and comfort.
“Mass were absolutely brilliant on our build, we wanted to do a modern but respectful extension to our 1700s house. They came up with great ideas, fantastic tradespeople and were friendly and professional”
