The York Roast Company sought to expand their Stonegate restaurant, located in a Grade II* Listed building owned by the National Trust, within York’s Central Historic Core near York Minster.
The project involved adding a new counter on the ground floor, fitting out the previously unused first floor to provide seating for 20 people, and creating a new storage area on the second floor.
This sensitive expansion was designed to respect the building’s historic significance while enhancing the restaurant’s capacity and functionality.
“Mass Architecture are a class act!
They are very honest and truthful. I have no problem with recommending them”
