Grosvenor Terrace

Extension | Landscape

This project involved replacing an existing external metal terrace with a striking ‘floating’ industrial-style glazed extension, to maximize natural light—an essential element of the client’s brief.

The terraced property, narrow in footprint across four floors, required thoughtful design to ensure the extension didn’t cast shadows on the basement level below. The design features structural glazing, purpose-built stepped planters and a bespoke staircase.

To the rear of the garden a matching sun room was designed to compliment the main extension. The south-facing orientation enhances views of the garden and provides an ideal space for enjoying the evening sun.
